Initiation of Integrated Forest and Ground Fire Mitigation Strategy through;
1. The formation of the Task Force for Integrated Forest and Ground Fire Mitigation which also acts as a fire surveillance unit.
2 Each governing unit within the regency are mandated to have a specific workplan to support the Integrated Forest and Ground Fire Mitigation.
3. Provision of incentives to individuals who prevent fires and open new cultivation lands without burning.
4. Supports for endemic plants and aquaculture cultivation as an alternative to slash-and-burn farming.
